About me

Vanessa Roux


Being a former architect, I decided to move from shaping buildings and spaces to shaping bodies and minds, by becoming a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. I am a Premier Training International graduate, one of the UK’s top Training Provider in the health and fitness industry.

After various experiences, I decided to become self-employed and to open my own company: Wellnessa, which offers a wide range of services, from Personal Training to Sports Massage Therapy (in client’s homes, offices, private or regular gyms).

I love every aspect of my job, and I am mainly passionate about endurance training (marathons, half marathons, cycling), nutrition and balanced lifestyle generally speaking.

I am qualified as an indoor/outdoor Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist, but I also have various qualifications such as: ante/post natal instructor, GP referral instructor, indoor-cycling instructor, master kettle-bell instructor, circuit training and body conditioning instructor.

I also attend regularly to workshops and trainings to keep learning – this industry, like any other, is perpetually evolving.

And, if you ever fancy spicing up your session, I can train you also in French or in Arabic, as with my bi-cultural background, I am fluent in both!

Personal Training prices

Before we start working together, we will meet for a free 30 min consultation to discuss your goals and objectives, and what you want to get out of your workout. Whether it is losing weight, getting fitter, feeling better, or just looking for that little push to help you get to work, we will work it out together. We will establish a timeline, and a specific programme that meets your needs based on all those information.

Each session lasts usually for one hour and will follow the same structure: we will start with a quick warm-up to get your heart rate racing a little bit. Then we will get to the core of the session, based on your programme. Finally we will end it with a cool down and some stretches.

Massage prices

Before your first massage, you will have a free 30 min consultation during which you can tell me more about yourself and what brought you to Sports Massage. I will conduct a postural assessment and/or go through some tests if necessary.

Based on the information gathered during the consultation, I will decide which treatment protocol will best optimise the massage outcomes. The session will end with stretches and post-care advices that you will be able to practice at home, to support the treatment given during the session.

The first half an hour massage that you book with me is at £15 only! After that session, the prices are as follow:

Vanessa is simply a brilliant personal trainer. She worked very hard to design a training regime that met my needs. She is highly motivating and helped me achieve my goals of fitness and weight loss very quickly. She is extremely friendly and encouraging and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend her to future clients.


It was a great working with Vanessa. I enjoyed being pushed as well as the flexibility in terms of timing, or work out design like when I had foot pain. I enjoyed both weight training and cardio and it was great seeing change in my body! I also appreciate Vanessa’s availability outside the sessions answering any question, she was a great motivator and helped me in choosing healthier options too, as well as tips on how to get focused and keep target in mind!


In an ideal world everyone should try a few sessions of a PT. It’s a bit like driving a car and learning any new skill, you wouldn’t do it without learning the right way to do things (especially without injuring yourself). Vanessa was extremely pleasant to work with as she consistently adapted sessions around what I results I wanted, what I enjoyed but was also great at pushing me in a friendly but firm way. My favourite thing working with Vanessa was learning exercises other than the standard pushup/situp and getting taught them properly. Normally I’d be hesitant to try anything new but now I readily do new things in the gym. Also, Nutrition feedback was very helpful and I found her recipes to be great!
